We believe in the triune God - Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit - Creator and Sustainer of all.

As the One and true God, we are obligated to love, glorify, obey and enjoy Him all the days of our lives.

As the Father, Son and Holy Spirit exist in perfect love we too are called to love one another.

The Trinity is to be the object of our supreme affection and devotion

because He endures with infinite affection and devotion to us.

We believe in God the Father, Sovereign Ruler and loving Patriarch.

We are not mere servants in His Kingdom – but are His redeemed and adopted children.

In response to his love, we are called to reflect His heart by becoming fathers to the fatherless –

demonstrating His infinite love and mercy to the lonely, the lost and the least,

for that is who we were apart from His sovereign choice.

We believe in Jesus Christ, God-Incarnate, Savior and Redeemer of sinners.

As members of Adam’s race we find ourselves by God’s grace under one new Head, Jesus Christ,

and we form one new humanity in Him extending His legacy of redemption to a lost and dying world.

Joined with Christ, we have the privilege of serving Him as we demonstrate for others

the infinite benefits of His sacrifice.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, Teacher and Encourager.

By the might and inspiration of the Holy Spirit who precedes us in our holy enterprise,

we are encouraged, sustained and empowered.

We can do nothing apart from Him and all that we do for Him is also from Him.

We believe in the Scriptures as the only inspired and infallible rule of faith and practice.

The Scriptures both Old and New Testaments are the word of God

and provide for Rebirth: East St. Louis its Holy Cause of evangelism and redemption.

We believe that mankind was created in the image of God, has fallen from his original state of innocence and requires redemption-the full recovery of God’s image in man.

Our goal at Rebirth: East St. Louis is to promote the finished work of Jesus Christ

as the only means of spiritual restoration and salvation.

We believe in the truth, power, hope, and works of the gospel.

Redemption is accomplished and secured through the grace shown in the person and work of Jesus Christ,

which is received through faith alone.  Saving faith radically transforms the individual, his family and his community.  Good works are the evidence of saving faith.

Rebirth: East St.  Louis hopes to participate in leaving a legacy of good works

that makes our city reflect human dignity and the image of Christ.
